Akebia quinata 'Rosea'

Fiveleaf Akebia: A robust vine with tendrils, semi-deciduous in mild climates, with slender, purplish stems as much as 30' long. Five-parted deep green leaves, tinged with red in new growth. Leaves to 3" long. Small clusters of fragrant three-parted rose-pink flowers in springtime. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Sand and drought tolerant once established. Deer and fire resistant.
