Agave 'Blue Flame'

Blue Flame Agave: Large clumping, monocarpic, succulent 30" tall x 36" wide with rosettes of flexible blue-green leaves with a glaucous waxy coating. Eventually, it can form large dense masses that are 4-5' tall x 8-10' wide or more. Terminal flower stalks rise to 15' tall and are loaded with small yellow-green flowers. When blooming, it attracts hummingbirds, birds, and pollinators. Great in containers indoors or outside. Full sun to part sun. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand, and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit and fire resistant.
