Aeonium canariense

Canary Island Aeonium: Shrub-like aeonium that grows to about 2-3' tall and wide, with rosettes growing 6-12" across. Green foliage in part shade with reddish tint when exposed to sun. Golden yellow star shaped flowers in summer. Seacoast, sand, wind, and drought tolerant once established but looks best with some occasional water. Deer, gopher, rabbit and fire resistant. Great in containers. Attracts butterflies and pollinators.
