Aeonium arboreum 'Electra'

Purple Pinwheel Aeonium: Evergreen succulent with 6" wide dark-purple rosettes that form branched stems to 2' tall. Yellow star-shaped flowers form in long conical clusters from the center of the rosettes in spring. Uncharacteristic to most Aeonium, this rosette does not die back after flowering. Great in containers. Attracts hummingbirds, bees and pollinators. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, sand and drought tolerant once established, but prefers occasional water. Deer, rabbit, gopher and fire resistant.
