Dwarf Aleutian Maidenhair Fern: Easy to grow CA and North American native deciduous fern with distinctive, fan-shaped fronds on black stems. Choice, rare dwarf form of Adiantum aleuticum to 10" tall with dense layered foliage. Spreads by rhizomes. Part sun to shade. Medium to high water. Woodland, pond or streamside plant. Good in containers and can grow indoors too. Deer, gopher and rabbit resistant.
