Northern Maidenhair Fern: Easy to grow CA and North American native deciduous fern 18-24" tall with distinctive, fan-shaped fronds on black stems. Spreads by rhizomes. Part shade to shade. Medium to high water. Woodland, pond or streamside plant. Good in containers and can grow indoors too. Deer, gopher and rabbit resistant.
