Acacia aphylla

Pearl Acacia, Leafless Rock Wattle, Live Wire: Unusual, attractive and rare, upright spiny leafless shrub up to 6-9' tall but more commonly 4-6' tall. Intricate, smooth blue-green rounded, leafless stems that are sharp tipped but not too spiny to be dangerous. Small round clusters of fragrant, yellow flower heads in late winter to early spring. Full sun to part sun. Low water. Tough and drought tolerant once established. Great for containers. Deer and rabbit resistant.
