Flowering maple, Chinese Lantern: Evergreen shrub 3-5' tall and wide with maple-like yellow variegated foliage and showy clusters of pendant, bell-shaped,small dark red buds that open to light yellow flowers and turn peach as they age. Long bloom season from spring to fall. Attracts hummingbirds, birds, butterflies, bees, and pollinators. Good for containers. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Heat tolerant.
