Abutilon 'Strybing Red'

Flowering Maple, Chinese Lantern: A smaller, shrubby variety grown at Strybing Arboretum. Dark stems and medium size bright shiny red flowers. Prolific bloomer. Bug resistant. Easy grower with a denser form, not rangy or gangly like some other types of Abutilon. Grows 4-7' tall x 4' wide. Good in containers. Full sun to part shade, medium water, long bloom season.
