Coastal Sand Verbena: Evergreen CA native, found in sand dunes on coastal banks and river banks. Full sun to part sun. Trailing succulent mat with clusters of yellow trumpet shaped flowers. Trailing plant 6" tall by 2-3' wide, with a long bloom season from spring to fall. Low water needs. Seacoast tolerant. This is a one of a kind plant that attracts bees and butterflies and has edible roots.
