Sherwoodii Abelia: Semi-evergreen dwarf shrub with glossy green foliage tinged purple-bronze in the fall. Red stems.  3-4' tall x 4-5' wide. Fragrant, lavender-pink flowers summer-fall. Good for borders or hedges. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Attracts birds, hummingbirds and butterflies. Seacoast, wind, heat, clay, sand, and drought tolerant once established. Deer, rabbit and gopher resistant.
