Abelia 'Edward Goucher'

Glossy Abelia: Semi-evergreen shrub 5-7' tall and wide with dense, arching branches, colorful foliage that takes on bronzy-purple tones, and abundant clusters of fragrant lilac flowers from midsummer to fall. Attractive calyces persist well after flowers fall. Good for containers and cut flowers. Attracts birds, pollinators, and hummingbirds. Full sun to part shade. Low to medium water. Seacoast, wind, clay, sand, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer and rabbit resistant.
