Lonicera hildebrandiana

Giant Burmese Honeysuckle. Fast growing, large evergreen vine with large 5 to 6 inch long, slender curving fragrant flowers start white then turn yellow and finally dull orange and are sometimes followed by an edible berry. Full sun to part shade. Drought tolerant once established but looks much better with regular irrigation. With age the stems develop a woody structure that is highly sculptural. Attractive to birds, bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
