Lonicera hildebrandiana

Giant Burmese Honeysuckle. Fast growing, large evergreen vine with large 5-6" long, slender curving fragrant flowers start white, then turn yellow, then dull orange. Sometimes followed by an edible berry. Good for cut flowers. Full sun to part shade. Medium water. Eventually develops an interesting woody structure. Attracts birds, hummingbirds and pollinators. Seacoast, wind, heat, sand, clay and drought tolerant once established but appreciates occcasional water. Deer, rabbit and fire resistant.
