Mackaya bella

Forest Bell Bush: Upright, dense, tropical looking evergreen shrub with glossy dark green leaves to 6-8' tall or more. 2" long trumpet-shaped very pale lavender flowers (almost white) from mid-spring to early summer.  Part shade to shade. Good for containers. Medium water. Can be pruned hard to control size and shape, or trained into a small tree. Deer and rabbit resistant. Heat and drought tolerant once established.
