Phyllostachys Nigra

Black Bamboo: Hardiest of all bamboos. Rapid-spreading running bamboo spreads and grows rapidly through underground rhizomes. Invasive if not controlled, perfect for dense walls or natural privacy fences and noise barriers. Up to 30' tall 2"thick culms. Full sun to part sun. Keep soil moist but not soggy.
